June 6, 2010 New York Victorian Consort – “The Ladies’ Salon”Dedicated to preserving and recreating music that was heard in the salons of Victorian England, this group is a natural for our setting. From CUNY’s Graduate Center, Allan Atlas on concertina, mezzo-soprano Julia O’Connell and pianist Jin-Ok Lee present a program of rarely-heard music featuring the works of Victorian women composers. All concerts take place in St. Cecilia's, our newly-renovated main building, in the music room adjoining the garden, Sundays at 3pm, followed by a champagne reception. PROMISEK STUDY GROUPS A Theological discussion group "The Promisek Communio Study Circle" meets on the first Sunday of each month at 7:30pm in the Beatrice Ayer Patton Education Center.
